Lighting Project for a Recycling Plant – Northern Israel
In this project, I approached the owner of a small recycling plant who required lighting for a work area. Although I was one of many competitors and not the cheapest option, I provided significant added value. After conducting a site visit and analyzing the work environment, I discovered challenging conditions – explosive gas emissions and corrosive effects that quickly destroyed existing lighting fixtures.
I demonstrated that my proposed lighting solution, based on highly durable fixtures, would provide long-term reliability. This convinced the client that while the initial cost was higher, the cost-benefit ratio was superior due to durability and efficiency.
The project included lighting calculations, conversion to a bill of quantities, full pricing, and final inspection with a summary report for the client. The project concluded successfully, with a satisfied and convinced customer.
Added Value from Previous Experience
Thanks to my previous experience in industrial instrumentation, including work with toxic and explosive gas monitoring systems, I was able to provide the client with a solution grounded in solid technical knowledge. This combination of professional expertise and practical insight created an optimal outcome – both for me as the project manager and for the client, who received a reliable, long-term solution.
